Lim­baugh was inart­ful in call­ing San­dra Fluke a S-L-U-T.  What­ever his other other short­com­ings might be, I can­not com­ment on as I do not reg­u­larly lis­ten to him.  That said, it is clear that through and because of him, that Republicans–as por­trayed by the media–are the tar­get of venom from Democ­rats and the media.

Media reports go so far as to try and tar the Repub­li­can can­di­dates with Limbaugh’s com­ments.  I dis­agree about Rom­ney, in par­tic­u­lar, as I think he set a good neu­tral exam­ple in say­ing “not the lan­guage I would have used.”  This is not his fight and not one he or other can­di­dates need to get into at this point.  Me thinks there is a vast left wing con­spir­acy at play to shift the abor­tion debate to con­tra­cep­tives (recall the early ques­tion by George S to Rom­ney, which Rom­ney dis­missed as ridicu­lous.)  Now, every­one is mak­ing a big play to make this an issue.

The “Tea Party” is any Amer­i­can that ques­tions the sta­tus quo.  That  Democ­rats demo­nize it and Repub­li­cans give it lip ser­vice isn’t enough to  dis­miss it.  What really comes out of this is the stark racism, hate, and  fear mon­ger­ing of the Democrats.
