Nothing Positive About Obama’s Foreign Policy

With the takedown of Muammar Qaddafi and the announcement that the Iraq war is coming to end, President Obama racked up more major victories on foreign policy this week – the fourth in six months starting with Usama bin Laden’s killing.

Cain, a Fifth Column to Underemine the Republican Party

Cain is undermining the Republican party, he’s a fifth column that will lead to Obama’s re-election.  Any proposal to create “opportunity zones” without minimum wage is a non-starter and tars the Republican party with extremeist nonsense.  Seriously, this only pads corporate cronies that set up shop in these areas and forces the taxpayer to foot the bill for worker’s other costs–foodstamps, healthcare, etc.–that simply can’t be bought with a slave wage more suitable in the 3rd world, not the U.S.

Solve our jobs problem without spending $450 billion

How about something a bit cheaper than $400–500 billion?  For every illegal with a job, there’s an American without one.  At no additional cost to the U.S. taxpayer, require all employers to check current employees, including temps, on E-Verify.”–Matthew J. Weaver

While we are at it, kill the H1B and L1 visa programs.  Stop giving away American jobs.

Can we move on?–Jay Carney, White House

The president wasn’t there. I mean, he wasn’t on stage.”

Mr. Carney, No, we cannot move on.  In introducing the president, Jimmy Hoffa, Jr. The president has made a habit of surrounding himself with people like Hoffa, then saying he didn’t hear their hate and incitement. Recall Ayers, Rev. Wright, and others. The president is now the leader of the country and it is time for him to show some respect for Americans, to walk the talk of civility that he calls for, and renounce the words of his friend Hoffa. Anything less, “can we move on”, simply says Obama agrees with Hoffa and is through proxies calling for incitement against fellow Americans.

Even Maureen Dowd Abandons Obama

The One is no more.  As Governor Palin noted a few months back, Barack Obama is a Lame Duck.  Now, even Maureen Dowd recognizes this and abandons Obama.

The leader who was once a luminescent, inspirational force is now just a guy in a really bad spot.”–Maureen Dowd
