Breaking News: Barack Obama Denied Real Time Requests to Help in Benghazi
Dad of dead American Tyrone Woods wants answers [audio below].
Jennifer Griffin writes at Fox News that the Obama Administration denied at least three real-time requests for help in Benghazi, that the nearby team that eventually went to help did so explicitly against orders, that there were two drones overhead (at least one with lasers pointed at the attacking mortars), air support on standby, and troops within hundreds of miles immediately ready to help. Against all of this, Fox News says everyone was told repeatedly to stand down while the firefights went on for over seven hours.
Obama vs. Romney: Comic Relief
Barack Obama and Mitt Romney circled each other Thursday night at the 67rd Annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner in New York City. Hosted by the Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York, this annual dinner offers a timely pause in the current campaign. Even so, the campaign was center to both Obama and Romney’s comments–Romney showed grace, warmth, great quips, and perfect timing. Obama, on the other hand, was strained at best and hardly funny at all.

Who are Joseph Biden and Paul Ryan and does it even matter?
Vice presidents are our nation’s insurance, ready to step in if the president is incapacitated, resigns, or is impeached. Historically, they collected dust for four or eight years and attended funerals. During campaigns, they often serve as attack dogs defending the presidential candidate. About 30 percent of vice presidents go on to be president.
This election cycle we have Barack Obama’s sitting vice president Joseph Biden and challenger Mitt Romney has chosen Paul Ryan. Both are from Capital Hill, political insiders if you will. They have long histories independent of their current roles as vice presidential candidates.
