At this point, by most accounts, Romney will secure the Republican nomination by continuing to win a plurality and occasional majority of votes in the remaining contents. Santorum, on the other hand, needs to win two-thirds and Gingrich nearly three-quarters of the remaining delegates.
MSM would have you believe that Saturday was Santorum’s day but a casual glance suggests otherwise with 80% of the contests going to Romney.

Home state votes illustrate dishonesty and hypocrisy of Newt, Rick, and the Media
By now everyone has heard the repeated pronouncements by Gingrich, Santorum, and the ever-helpful media that candidates must win their ‘home states’ or drop out. Will the media finally point out the intellectual dishonesty of Gingrich and Santorum on the Super Tuesday primaries? How many people realize that BOTH Santorum and Gingrich are long-term and current residents of Virginia. By any reasonable definition, this is their home state, definitely more so than branding Michigan as Romney’s home state even though he hasn’t lived there since the late 60s. Yes, 50 years ago.
So, what does Tuesday portend for the remaining four candidates?
